HURTS (LESS) II inhabits the space of fracture. The piece presents itself broken, not as a trace of an accident, but as an inevitable manifestation of a process where error, collapse, and interruption are integral parts of the form.
The work embraces failure not as a deviation, but as an essential event. The rupture—both physical and symbolic—becomes an anchor point for reflection on the fragility of gesture and the inevitability of transformation. What breaks remains body, remains presence.
The unpredictable glaze intensifies this tension between control and surrender. Matter and intention intersect in an unstable balance where disaster is not silenced but absorbed as language.
