(Pending Definition) investigates the instability of the concept of identity, proposing a reflection on how the Self is formed in a constant field of tension between the intimate and the external. Rather than presenting identity as something fixed or fully recognizable, the work reveals its fluidity — at times as construction, fragment, or desire.
The material reflects an internal struggle for personal definition within a space saturated with voices, images, and expectations that shape, obscure, or distort self-recognition. The influence of the other — whether social, familial, or symbolic — runs through the piece as a constant presence, sometimes as a guide, sometimes as noise.
The form, often ambiguous or in transformation, refuses definitive answers. There is a visible effort to grasp at an essence that slips away, resisting definition. In this process, identity reveals itself less as a destiny and more as a transitional state — a limbo between what one is, what one hopes to be, and what one never was.
