HURTS (LESS) I

HURTS (LESS) I arises from the encounter between an intuitive gesture and the material's inherent will, exploring the fluid nature of identity. Four faces merge, trapped in a moment of transformation, in an attempt at coexistence. The glaze becomes a mark of the unforeseen, the result of combining different materials without prior testing, giving rise to a surface almost alien like, as if the material has acquired its own will.

This work is a reflection on the acceptance of error and the lack of control, elements I consider intrinsic to the process of constructing identity.
